Overview
Russian 4K Quiz helps you build Russian vocabulary through quick, focused translation quizzes.
The app contains over 4,000 words organised into themed categories and supports both English → Russian and Russian → English practice.
The goal is simple: consistent exposure, quick feedback, and steady progress.
Getting Started
1. Choose a Category
From the home screen:
- Tap Change Category
- Select a vocabulary category
- Some advanced categories may require the Pro unlock
Your chosen category remains selected until you change it.
2. Configure Your Quiz
Tap the quiz setup button to adjust:
- Number of questions (10, 20, or 30)
- Direction of translation
- English → Russian
- Russian → English
These preferences are remembered for your next session.
3. Start the Quiz
Tap Start Quiz to begin.
Each question displays:
- A word or phrase
- Four possible answers
Select the correct translation to continue.
During a Quiz
Answer Feedback
After selecting an answer:
- Correct answers are clearly highlighted
- Incorrect options fade to reduce distraction
- Immediate feedback helps reinforce learning
Tap Next Question to continue.
Starting a New Game
You can start fresh anytime:
- Tap New Game (top right)
- Your selected category and settings are preserved
- The quiz resets with a new question set
This is useful if you want to restart practice without reconfiguring options.
Results Screen
At the end of a quiz you’ll see:
- Final score
- Percentage correct
- Category completed
Tap Try Again to restart with the same settings or return to the home screen to change options.
Unlocking All Categories (Pro Version)
Some vocabulary categories require a one-time Pro unlock.
Pro unlock includes:
- Access to all vocabulary categories
- No subscriptions
- No recurring payments
To unlock:
- Select a locked category
- The purchase screen will appear
- Confirm the one-time purchase
If you already purchased:
- Tap Restore Purchases on the paywall screen.
Ratings & Feedback
Occasionally the app may prompt for a rating after completed quizzes.
Your feedback helps improve future updates.
Tips for Effective Learning
- Short, regular sessions work best
- Practice both translation directions
- Repeat categories over time to reinforce memory
- Don’t rush — accuracy beats speed

Troubleshooting
Purchases Not Restored
- Ensure you are signed into the same Apple ID used for purchase
- Tap Restore Purchases on the unlock screen
Quiz Not Resetting
Use the New Game button to restart while keeping your selected category and settings.
